Soap in My Eye

Think of the sheer delight of a child chasing after soap bubbles. But have you ever seen what happens when a bubble pops near an eye? Life can sometimes have a sting that mirrors the unpredictability of getting soap in your eye during a time of pure joy. There are moments when you can be on Cloud 9, in complete bliss, thinking life could not get much better, when “pip” - something bursts from thin air that can cause an unexpected sharp burning pain. Human experiences encompass both joys and challenges. I am thankful for a God who comforts us when we experience life's stings.
