We are saddened to share that Learning Care Group (LCG)—the independent operator of Pathways Learning Academy preschool in our Children’s Wing—has notified Grace Commons of its decision to terminate its contract and close the preschool. This decision to close with 30 days notice was made by LCG and was not initiated by the church. LCG has set the final day of care for Fri, Oct 17, 2025 and is communicating directly with enrolled families about transition options.
Even as we grieve the impact on the preschool’s children, families and staff, we remain committed to vibrant ministry in our Children’s Wing and effective use of our facilities to support community outreach. Trustees are working with Session to evaluate future opportunities for the space.
