Will

Will is the human capacity to actively decide what to do with one’s life and with opinions of another’s life. Will leads to choices. As human beings we are called to love our neighbor as ourself, in spite of the brokenness in our world. Matthew 12:28-31

Hagar

The human condition can take on many forms, each with its own autonomy, uniqueness and dignity. Even when alone or outcast, every human being has an existence within the harmony of the broader human race. Created in the image of a loving God, every human has a savior to carry them through to eternity. God is always sovereignly at work. In the book of Genesis, Hagar was an outcast yet compassionately provided for.

About the Artist

SANDRA JEAN CEAS believes that the gift of art making comes from the Lord. In His likeness we all create, yet some of us are called to a vocation to create art with a voice that reflects and glorifies Him. In the process of making art, Sandra is transformed by the contemplation on the subject matter she is communicating. Much of my art portrays my interpretation of humanity through the eyes of God. Sometimes the narrative is visually direct with underlying emotions and other times more enigmatic. Her aim is to evoke compassion and and a desire to understand more about the love and grace of Christ.
